About the Role

Ares Management Corporation is seeking an experienced Associate Vice President, Compensation to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our Compensation Business Advisory Group, you will play a critical role in supporting full-cycle compensation activity, ad-hoc analytics, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Compensation Business Advisory Group to develop and implement compensation strategies that drive business results.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, and Business Leaders to ensure a competitive compensation approach for the business.
  • Support the annual compensation process, including structuring new employee offers, evaluating candidate buy-outs, and providing general advice and counsel on role pricing and compensation market trends.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, including Gender Pay Reporting in the UK and IFPR/AIFMD disclosure requirements.
  • Develop and maintain compensation grids and/or ranges, modifying as needed based on market intelligence.
  • Support pay equity audits and the annual compensation benchmarking process.
  • Provide exceptional client service to aligned client groups and the broader HR team, promptly addressing all related queries and concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of analytical or compensation experience, preferably within financial services industry.
  • Global Compensation experience preferred.
  • Experience with Workday and/or Compensation platform(s) preferred.
