The NHS is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Health Improvement Coordinator. This position involves assisting health improvement practitioners in delivering various programs, including healthy lifestyles, weight management, and mental health initiatives. Key responsibilities include administrative tasks such as ordering resources, organizing room hire, and paying invoices.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity that requires excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in health promotion or improvement, with basic knowledge of conditions that impact health and wellbeing. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing workload and adapting to changing situations.

Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a related field
  • Documented evidence of training participation
  • Understanding of cultural differences in service delivery
  • Familiarity with the NHS and local health boards

Estimated salary for this position is £18,500 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. Travel may be required, but adaptability is key in this non-routine environment.
