Job Title: Public Health Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the BCU Health Improvement Team as a Public Health Practitioner.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of health improvement programmes and initiatives focussing on Nutrition, Weight Management, Physical Activity, Substance Misuse, Mental Health, and Emotional Wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of health improvement programmes and initiatives
  • Work as part of the BCU Health Improvement Team to achieve agreed local and national priorities
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate health promotion resources and programmes
  • Evaluate health improvement programmes and make recommendations for improvement

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in health improvement and a knowledge of current issues and legislation on health improvement/promotion and wider determinants of health.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
