Transforming lives through evidence-based health improvement initiatives in Caia Park, Central Wrexham, and Flint is the core focus of this role. As a part-time Band 5 Health Improvement Practitioner, you will join the BCU Health Improvement Team to spearhead Nutrition and Weight Management programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in public health and wellbeing strategies, as well as experience or qualifications in Health Promotion, Mental Health, and Wellbeing, Public Health, or Sports and Exercise Sciences. This knowledge will enable them to develop, deliver, and evaluate a range of health improvement programs and initiatives focusing on Nutrition, Weight Management, Physical Activity, Substance Misuse, Mental Health, and Emotional Wellbeing.

This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to work as part of a motivated team, with regular supervision, training, and personal development plans to help achieve full potential. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

As an NHS professional, you will be part of a larger health organisation providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute, and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 in North Wales.
