Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Health Improvement Specialist. This role presents an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in Caia Park, Central Wrexham, and Flint.

The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and effectively as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and good auditory/perceptual skills are essential for this role.

The salary range for this position is £26,000 - 30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with Health Improvement Practitioners to deliver healthy lifestyles, weight management, and mental health initiatives
  • Perform various administrative duties, including resource procurement, venue booking, invoice payment, and participant enrollment for courses
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience working in health promotion/improvement
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
  • Awareness of Health & Safety legislation & practices
