Job Description:
The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a motivated and self-directed individual to join the BCU Health Improvement Team as a Health Improvement Professional. This part-time role will focus on Nutrition and Weight Management, supporting the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of health improvement programmes and initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of Caia Park, Central Wrexham, and Flint communities.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing, delivering, and evaluating health promotion resources and programmes
* Providing support to the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of health improvement programmes and initiatives
* Working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of the community
* Contributing to the growth and development of the BCU Health Improvement Team

Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with:
* A relevant first degree or evidence of working practice/education to first degree level
* Evidence of continued professional development, with courses relevant to area of work
* Sound knowledge of current issues and legislation on health improvement/promotion and wider determinants of health
* An understanding of primary care
* Experience of developing, delivering, and evaluating health promotion resources and programmes

Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this is an estimate based on industry standards and location. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and performance.
