Key Account Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our UK team, based in Birmingham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Job Summary:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid sales background, looking for an exciting new challenge. You will be the first point of contact for clients, managing new business development, and some existing accounts, aiming to hit sales targets while providing top-notch service.
You will split your time between the office and visiting clients across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel and overnight stays. Your ability to investigate and find potential new routes to market for our company products will be essential to driving growth.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong sales background with proven success in technical sales, ideally within machinery or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to quickly connect with clients.
- Resilience, tenacity, and independence with a knack for problem-solving and analysis.
- Strong team-working skills with the ability to manage customer relationships efficiently.
- High-level administrative skills, especially for CRM database management.
Benefits:
- Basic Salary: £48,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Bonus: Potential to earn circa £15,000 in bonuses annually.
