We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Children's Intensive Care Unit Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hospital systems and previous experience in secretarial and/or clerical roles.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the CICU department and general paediatric clinics, paediatric neurosurgery, and paediatric urology. This includes waiting list management, communicating appointment and admission related information to patients and carers, and typing correspondence as appropriate.

You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of the department, adhering to the Trust's Access Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a good general education to include GCSE English or equivalent, and RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent. Previous experience of working in an acute hospital setting is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £19,000-£21,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of the NHS, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities.
