About the Position:This Higher Level Teaching Assistant position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a supportive and enthusiastic team, contributing to the best possible outcomes for our students.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and ensuring the high-quality delivery of lessons across the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include leading small group and one-to-one interventions, assisting with planning and preparation of classroom activities, and supervising students to ensure their safety and well-being.
Main Responsibilities:- Lesson Support: Provide high-quality support to teachers in delivering lessons across the curriculum.
- Intervention Programs: Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to support individual learning needs.
- Resource Management: Assist with planning and preparation of classroom activities and resources.
- Student Supervision: Supervise and manage students to ensure their safety and well-being during lessons and breaks.
- Pupil Progression: Help assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- SEN Assistance: Support students with special educational needs as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to create an inclusive learning environment.
- A level 4 qualification in Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (preferably in a school setting).
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and how to support student learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- A competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience.
