Teaching Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in Burnley, East Lancashire.

Job Description

  • Support all staff with training needs, both whole staff sessions and individual class group sessions as required.
  • Monitor the health and well-being of the pupils and pass on information to relevant colleagues and other professionals regarding both concerns and positive changes.

Requirements

  • Level 3 TA or higher
  • Full UK driving license
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection trained
  • Experience of Pastoral and Positive Behaviour approaches
  • Experience managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £14.60 per hour and 35 hours per week - Term-time only, plus a range of benefits including free child protection and prevent duty training.
