Medical Records Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Medical Records Associate to join our team at East Lancashire Alliance. As a Medical Records Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. Your duties will include extracting clinical information from patient records, analyzing it, and assigning the correct codes. You will also provide cover for absence of coding staff and ensure continuity of data coding. A key aspect of this role is maintaining high standards of quality in corporate and clinical record-keeping.

About Us

East Lancashire Alliance is a network of nine PCNs consisting of 48 GP practices serving over 390,000 patients. We champion local primary care partnerships and strive to improve patient-centered healthcare services.
