About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Health Information Analyst to join our team at East Lancashire Alliance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting clinical information from patient records, analyzing it, and assigning appropriate codes. They will also provide cover for absence of coding staff and ensure continuity of data coding. A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

About Us

East Lancashire Alliance is a network of nine PCNs consisting of 48 GP practices serving over 390,000 patients. We champion local primary care partnerships and strive to improve patient-centered healthcare services.

As a Health Information Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with doctors, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to resolve coding queries and ensure accurate record-keeping. Your knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems will be essential in this role.
