Neighbourhood Service Support Coordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Delivery Centre Support Worker with Lancashire County Council, supporting the delivery of early help services for children, young people, and families in line with the vision for Children and Families in Lancashire.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Burnley. As a Delivery Centre Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing front-facing meet and greet services to users of neighbourhood centre sites, dealing with general queries, and signposting service users to relevant activities and resources.
You will apply and undertake various standardised procedures, using associated tools and equipment to ensure that centre users, participants, and visitors have their access needs met. This includes recording appointments, room and group bookings using IT systems for Early Help Service and other agreed multi-agency partner delivery requirements.
In addition, you will undertake directed tasks in relation to recording service user information regarding their use of neighbourhood centre services. This involves updating information on the Early Help Service management information system. You will also maintain an overview of the health and safety of the operating environment and take corrective action to address any issues that arise.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues. You will be proactive, flexible, and able to work well under pressure, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to vulnerable individuals and groups.

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) based in Burnley, covering across various bases. The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues across their team, assisting and undertaking tasks that support the safe and smooth day-to-day operation of Early Help Service centre delivery operations.

A competitive salary of £24,404 - £25,183 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this role. Please note that the salary range may be subject to change.
