Discipline Team Lead Opportunity

Wood Digital Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Discipline Team Lead to support our EMEA Systems Integration business. This is a key role that will play a critical part in our continued growth plans.

About the Role

The Discipline Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 to 14 Engineers of various levels to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Automation and Controls department. This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Engineers to deliver high-quality results and meet business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Identify and develop talent within the team to meet current and future business needs
Requirements
  • ISCED Level 6 / Bachelors (minimum) or Level 7 / Masters (preferred) degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage
  • Extensive experience of engineering delivery in one or more relevant industry sectors
  • Expert level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes
  • Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
