Discipline Team Lead

Wood is currently recruiting experienced professionals to fill the role of Automation and Control Discipline Team Lead in our EMEA Systems Integration business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 to 14 Engineers of various levels to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Automation and Controls department.
This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues expected.
Applicants must be able to pass a security clearance check.
Requirements:
- ISCED Level 6 / Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Level 7 / Master's degree (preferred) in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage

- Extensive experience of engineering delivery in one or more relevant industry sectors
- Expert-level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes
- Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Able to attract top talent to meet current and future business needs
- Experienced in developing talent using coaching, mentoring, and formal performance processes
