Electrical Discipline Team Lead

**Wood is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Discipline Team Lead to support our EMEA Systems Integration business**.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage a team of approximately 10 to 14 Engineers / Designers of various levels to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Electrical and Instrument department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

**Requirements:**

  • ISCED Level 6 / Bachelors (minimum) or Level 7 / Masters (preferred) degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Extensive broad and deep experience of engineering delivery in one or more relevant industry sectors.
  • Expert level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes.
  • Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to attract top talent to meet current and future business needs.
  • Experienced in developing talent using coaching, mentoring and formal performance processes.
