Senior Engineering Team Lead

Wood is currently recruiting a Discipline Team Lead to support our EMEA Systems Integration business. We have 3 new positions available as part of our continued growth plans.

The Discipline Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 to 14 Engineers of various levels to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Automation and Controls department.

This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues expected.

Applicants must be able to pass a security clearance check.

Requirements:

  • ISCED Level 6 / Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Level 7 / Master's degree (preferred) in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Chartership with a relevant professional body / Professional Engineer License or equivalent is an advantage

  • Expert-level experience and understanding of discipline engineering tools and processes
  • Broad understanding of the business drivers for relevant industry sector clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to attract top talent to meet current and future business needs
  • Experienced in developing talent using coaching, mentoring, and formal performance processes
