We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our reporting team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of financial statements for our UK and overseas entities, audit liaison, and ensuring that accounting standards are being applied correctly.

About the Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take on a key role in supporting the delivery of financial statements, audit liaison, and ensuring that accounting standards are being applied correctly. You will also support the delivery of Corporate Tax schedules and provide accounting advice to the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of financial statements for our UK and overseas entities
  • Assist with audit liaison and ensure that accounting standards are being applied correctly
  • Support the delivery of Corporate Tax schedules
  • Provide accounting advice to the wider finance team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should be a strong technical accountant with experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements. You should be confident in leading the audit process and have a good understanding of accounting standards. You should also be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent communication skills.
