Automation & Controls Engineering Team Leader

Wood Digital Consulting (DC) is seeking experienced Automation and Control Discipline Team Leads to join our EMEA Systems Integration business.

As a key member of our growing team, you will manage a group of 10-14 Engineers, driving efficiency and excellence within the Automation and Controls department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental processes and optimize project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation and control systems within client projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of automation and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (minimum) or Master's (preferred) degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineer License or equivalent is highly desirable.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in managing engineering teams within the automation and controls sector.
  • In-depth understanding of industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
