About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our SHE department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe planning, delivery, and review of complex projects across the construction and maintenance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of SHE policies, standards, and legislation across all business units.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance and provide guidance to site teams.
  • Develop and maintain SHE plans and procedures to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with site management to prepare construction SHE plans and review them regularly.
  • Carry out formal SHE reviews on all sites to ensure compliance with Vistry Group SHE policies and standards.
  • Provide specialist support and advice on SHE matters to business units and site teams.
  • Support the development and implementation of SHE training programs for site teams and business units.
  • Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Safety Advisor role.
  • Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
