Job Opportunity: Regional HSE Advisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Regional HSE Advisor to join Kenton Black Construction, a leading developer delivering residential properties across the region. You will be a strong operational leader, able to build relationships and manage sub-contractors and their safety output. Due to the nature of the projects, Construction/Housebuilding experience is essential.

Reporting into the Group Safety, Health & Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and ensuring the effectiveness of health, safety, and environmental processes.
  2. Ensuring site-based management is focused on delivering a safe and healthy working environment.
  3. Advising sites on project-specific health, safety, and environment issues.
  4. Working proactively to identify potential risks and areas for continuous improvement.
  5. Being an integral team member in driving safety across the site portfolio in the region.
  6. A confident communicator able to manage up as well as down.
  7. Delivering bespoke training to enhance safety performance.

You will be an experienced, confident professional with a passion for Health & Safety, plus an ability to work with people to improve performance. You will also be:

  1. NEBOSH Construction or General-qualified (Essential)
  2. Safety & Health Diploma-qualified (NEBOSH, NVQ, NCRQ - Preferable)
  3. Experienced in Construction projects and associated hazards (Essential)
  4. Experienced in Housebuilding (Preferable)

This is an excellent chance to join a leading contractor in a burgeoning residential sector with great development opportunities. You will earn an excellent package between GBP 40-45,000 (dependent on experience) plus car/car allowance, bonus, and other corporate benefits.
