About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear, a leading provider of critical nuclear solutions in clean energy, defence, and civil new build and decommissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the HPC Way and its core pillars, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Play a key role in the integrated Health & Safety team, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance with MEH policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect working practices, including conducting site inspections and reporting trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 contractors and the Principal Contractor to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide specialist advice on HSE topics, including risk management, incident response, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A strong construction background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to effectively explain HSE procedures and expectations to diverse audiences.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, or equivalent.
