About the Role

The Portfolio Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join our team. As a Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health and safety contractual service visits to clients' premises, providing documentation and advice as required.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and recommend preventative measures to minimize risks.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety management systems and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on health and safety standards and best practices.
  • Manage time effectively to provide an efficient and effective service to clients.
  • Attend company meetings, courses, and training sessions to maintain professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to ongoing changes.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail to identify hazards and complete investigations.
  • Process-driven, with the ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
