As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will report to the Health and Safety leadership team and will be responsible for conducting site inspections across various locations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proactive planning abilities, and a client-focused mindset, coupled with the capability to meet deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and the internal health and safety team
  • Participate in client health and safety meetings
  • Assist site teams with all health and safety matters
  • Evaluate and review safe systems of work
  • Perform workplace inspections and document findings
  • Investigate accidents or incidents thoroughly

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the construction sector
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience in client interactions
  • A team-oriented individual with technical expertise in health and safety within construction and building services
  • Proficient in IT and report writing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent certification
