The Role
As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting fire safety audits and inspections to identify potential fire hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Developing and implementing fire safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on fire safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure fire safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest fire safety technologies and best practices to ensure our facilities and operations remain safe and compliant.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Fire and Construction Certificates or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a fire safety role, preferably in a nuclear or high-hazard industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
