Job Summary

Service Care Solutions - Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' construction projects meet the required building regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Review and assess building plans and designs to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on building regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in building regulations and standards, and ensure that our clients are aware of any new requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree, HNC or degree equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
  • Membership of a professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
  • Achieved or working towards a minimum of Class 2 registration.
  • 5 years of building control experience, either with a local authority or a private organization.
