Job Overview: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant - Finance Team to join our team at Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions Limited in Kilmarnock. This is a permanent, full-time position that will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team.

About the Role:
This role involves performing various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating office records and databases, assisting in the preparation of financial reports and documents, and processing invoices and managing accounts payable. Additionally, you will conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, assist with payroll processing and employee timekeeping, coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements, and order office supplies and maintain inventory.

Key Requirements:
  1. Proficient in data entry and experience with accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or Workday.
  2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles is a plus.
