Ward Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Administrator to join our team at Brighton & Hove Clinic. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide administrative support to the wards, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical administration and support services, including updating patient information, answering phone calls, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the ward diary, update service user timetables, and take minutes during meetings.
- Arrange meetings, type up correspondence, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work closely with the training administrator to ensure all staff have completed mandatory training.
- Monitor attendance information, including absence data, and take appropriate action.
- Provide efficient administration to the ward staff, dealing with requests for information promptly.
- Answer ward phones and manage enquiries effectively.
- Prepare new patient folders and ensure all relevant documentation is included.
- Perform general administration duties, such as photocopying, filing, and scanning.
- Cover main reception duties as required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond to changes in service and adapt to new situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organize and prioritize work within established procedures.
You will be working at Brighton & Hove Clinic, providing CAMHS Tier 4 services for young people with eating disorders and other mental health conditions. Our team combines NICE guidelines recommended therapies to create bespoke programs that support each person's physical, medical, and mental health needs.
