About the Role

AWS InCommunities is a team within AWS's Infrastructure organization that focuses on building and supporting global and local initiatives around science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) education, equity, and access; tech upskilling; environmental stewardship; and employee engagement. We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Manager to lead the Community Engagement program for AWS Infrastructure in the UK and other countries in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify organizations and key stakeholders to understand their needs, build relationships, and collaborate on impactful outcomes.
- Manage the delivery of community programs, events, and initiatives following global standards with a focus on localization.
- Manage key aspects of community sponsorships and determine whether a sponsorship opportunity met success criteria in collaboration with key business partners.
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure expansion by facilitating discussions related to community engagement during planning approvals.
- Lead community assessment for new sites in the region, identify potential community-related risks, and develop a community engagement plan to proactively mitigate the risks.
- Communicate the impact of InCommunities programs internally and externally.
- Partner with HR to build on and develop programs that empower employees to engage with our communities.
- Represent AWS Infrastructure publicly in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize multiple communications channels to drive employees' awareness and involvement in community engagement initiatives.
- Capture data to demonstrate community engagement's quantified and qualified impact on AWS Infrastructure, its employees, and the community, and communicate these values internally and externally.

What We're Looking For
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree.
- Experience in CSR, Corporate Affairs, or related domains.
