This Compensation Excellence Manager position is an excellent opportunity to shape rewards in a forward-thinking, tech-driven financial environment.

As a Compensation Excellence Manager, you will take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing the total rewards strategy to attract, retain, and inspire top talent. Collaborating with teams across People, Finance, and senior leadership, you will ensure their compensation and benefits programs reflect the company's culture, stay competitive, and comply with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation Strategy & Management:
    • Develop and oversee a competitive compensation strategy, including salary benchmarking, pay structures, and incentive programs.
    • Manage the annual salary and bonus review process, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Provide actionable insights on market trends, salary data, and regulatory changes to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Incentives & Recognition:
    • Design and deliver impactful reward and recognition programs that motivate employees and reinforce company values.
    • Develop short- and long-term incentive plans (STI/LTI) aligned with business goals and performance outcomes.
  • Performance & Rewards Integration:
    • Collaborate with People and Talent teams to ensure alignment between rewards, performance management, and career development frameworks.
    • Train and guide managers on reward practices to promote transparency and consistency across the organization.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze compensation and benefits data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide competitive insights.
    • Present regular reports to senior leadership, offering key metrics and actionable insights on rewards and market positioning.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., gender pay reporting, equal pay, data protection) and internal audit requirements.
    • Stay informed about financial services sector-specific remuneration guidelines and legislative updates.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Partner with People, Finance, and Legal teams to align reward programs with broader business and financial goals.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing expert guidance on reward strategies and best practices.

The estimated salary for this role is £100,000 - £120,000 + Bonus & Benefits, depending on experience.
