The Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Older Persons Community Mental Health Team.

This challenging role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to provide administrative support and ensure the efficient functioning of the office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office, and experience in an office environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to phone calls, emails, and mail from patients, carers, relatives, and other professionals.
  • Supporting clinical staff with tasks such as audio typing, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Recording patient data on the RiO system and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing outpatient clinic reception services and assisting with patient-related tasks.
  • Creating and printing information leaflets and assessment tools, and monitoring their supplies.
  • Covering staff absences and contributing to the overall well-being of the team.

The estimated salary range for this position is £27,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
