Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to work across a small hub of estates in the Warrington area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a responsive breakdown and planned preventative maintenance service.
The role involves general building services engineering across mechanical plant, working to all policies/procedures and safe systems of work for estates related works in accordance with statutory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver a Responsive Breakdown Service: Respond to breakdowns and faults on time, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and estate operations.
- General Building Services Engineering: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, pipework, venting, pumps, valves, AHU's, FCU's, feeds, motors, and associated mechanical plant room equipment.
- Work to Safe Systems of Work: Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safe systems of work for estates related works in accordance with statutory requirements.
Requirements:
- A suitable mechanical apprenticeship and City and Guilds or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with maintenance operations, AHU's, Fan coil Units, plant room kit, general pipework, and commercial-grade equipment and sites.
- Multiskilled background, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum, plus optional overtime paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate, with holiday pay and statutory holidays. A van or car is provided for personal use.
