About Us: The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is a world-leading botanic garden that conserves and researches plants for the well-being of people and the planet.
Your Role: As a Research Assistant, you will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of our vast collection, including plant identification, data entry, and sample preparation. You will also contribute to research projects, helping to develop new methods for plant conservation and study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance of the botanical collection, including plant identification and data entry
- Contribute to research projects, developing new methods for plant conservation and study
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain accurate records of plant specimens and research data
