About the Role
The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd is seeking a talented NATIONAL ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in the supermarket and groceries sector.

This role will involve all aspects of customer development and management, focusing on a shopper and category-based approach. A strong commercial awareness of Food & Beverage is required, along with excellent relationship building skills to develop exceptional engagement with key functional contacts within commercial, category, finance, supply chain, and store operations.

We are looking for a competent strategic and creative leader who can create and deliver accounts, with experience working with customers ideally within sales, trade marketing, or category management. Grocery sector knowledge is ideal but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve volume, revenue, profit, and strategic objectives in allocated customers in line with company standards and strategy
• Develop and execute customer development plans to drive business growth
• Manage customer relationships to ensure exceptional engagement and satisfaction

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years' FMCG experience within a commercial role (sales, marketing, or operations)
• Demonstrable experience of creating and delivering accounts
• Experience working with customers ideally within sales, trade marketing, or category management
• Strong understanding of grocery trade sectors (multiples, convenience, discount...)

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
