About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Funding Portfolio Director to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for shaping the future business strategy across our flagship Life Science event portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading large-scale event teams, with extensive experience in expos, conferences, and content production. You will be responsible for managing our global Life Science team, ensuring they live their purpose while being a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and revenue across our Life Science event portfolio.
  2. Team Management: Lead and manage our global Life Science team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality events and exceed business targets.
  3. Event Production: Oversee the production of our flagship Life Science events, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and exceed customer expectations.
  4. Marketing and Sales: Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive attendance and revenue growth across our event portfolio.
  5. Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of our event portfolio, ensuring we meet our budgeted EBITDA targets.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven Experience: A strong background in leading large-scale event teams, with extensive experience in expos, conferences, and content production.
  2. Leadership Skills: Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience of creating strategic and tactical commercial plans.
  3. Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience of managing complex events and projects.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and lasting relationships with senior executives and external stakeholders.
