Position Overview

The Event Strategy Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and enhancement of proprietary events, as well as participation in external events to elevate brand visibility, cultivate leads, retain current clients, and ensure exceptional experiences for attendees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of event strategies that align with organizational objectives and marketing team goals.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish event goals, messaging, aesthetics, and target demographics. Ensure all contributors are aligned and effectively manage project challenges.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including vendor management, contract negotiations, budgeting, venue selection, and on-site coordination, covering elements such as signage, catering, transportation, and promotional items.
  • Implement pre-event and post-event marketing initiatives to maximize participation, engagement, and lead follow-up, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Work closely with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to integrate events into broader marketing strategies seamlessly.
  • Evaluate and report on event performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for ongoing enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, documenting strategies, processes, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A creative and strategic approach, with over 5 years of demonstrated experience in event marketing, ideally within the technology or B2B SaaS sectors.
  • A strategic mindset capable of thriving in dynamic environments, applying business insights to event planning to achieve strong ROI and measurable outcomes.
  • A passion for orchestrating complex in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A meticulous attention to detail, professionalism in fast-paced situations, adaptability to ambiguity, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in crafting compelling promotional content and demand generation strategies.
  • An awareness of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to enhance event effectiveness.
  • A forward-thinking attitude towards event experiences, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to ensure engaging and dynamic events.
  • A data-driven approach to developing, executing, and scaling event programs, focusing on goal-setting, KPI measurement, milestone communication, and outcome reporting.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including in-person collaboration on designated days.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
