Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people, providing evidence-based interventions and support to those experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

As a key member of our Specialist Mental Health Support Team (MHST), you will be working closely with education settings, local authorities, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and services.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for working with children and young people, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people in education settings.
  • Provide assessments and interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Collaborate with education staff to identify and manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
  • Offer leadership and management to staff, promoting high performance standards and achieving Trust objectives.

Requirements:

  • Recognised postgraduate level training in a psychological therapy.
  • Professionally registered as specified in the Appendix.

Salary: £38,890 - £44,440 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working options, access to internal training opportunities, and regular supervision.
