The post-holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service for the Complex Discharge Team based within our Complex Discharge Hubs. This role will underpin the safe and timely discharge of patients, while also working to reduce patient length of stay.
Main Responsibilities- Deal with complex information and ensure team members are aware of any issues.
- Knowledge and use of various Microsoft Office software programmes, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Discharge Hub Management System (DHMS).
- Prioritise the demands of the team, managing frequent disruptions and conflicting priorities.
- Receive and process all referrals triggered by ward staff, uploading referrals to Eclipse (Birmingham Council System) as directed by managers.
- Record and monitor information on the Discharge Hub Management System (DHMS) and other appropriate systems/excel sheets, ensuring the referral trail is auditable.
- Provide intelligence on Complex Discharge Hub performance, interrogating, collecting/inputting and maintaining various databases to produce spreadsheet reports.

Person Specification- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification and/or experience in an administrative environment.

- Experience of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
