About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bid Manager to join our Sales Support and Business Development team at SS&C Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the RFP/RFI engagement process, working in partnership with the Sales team and external parties to deliver high-quality responses within set deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with prospect clients and industry consultants, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with various business areas to define system solutions and business models, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate the response to RFI/RFP documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Facilitate client visits and workshops, preparing presentation materials and ensuring a smooth sales process.
  • Support the Sales team throughout the engagement, providing analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated, quality-driven individual with excellent organizational skills and good planning abilities.
  • Commercial and client-focused with strong influencing skills, good oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • An understanding of the sales process and experience within the UK financial services market, preferably with a detailed product understanding of the middle office/fund accounting, wealth management, and/or Life and Pensions sector.
  • Good product understanding of industry and regulatory developments, with a flexible and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in a sales, consultancy, or business process outsourcing environment, with a good awareness of FCA and European regulatory environments and trends.
