**Job Summary:** Family Support Specialist

Vetro Recruitment is working with a client who is seeking a highly motivated Family Support Specialist to join their team at the Family Assessment Centre.

About the Centre:

  • The Family Assessment Centre provides a caring and supportive environment for parents or expectant parents in need of additional support.
  • As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with families to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans to help them achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits and assess family needs, developing tailored support plans to meet those needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to data protection policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 4 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or a formal qualification in social work.
  • Proven experience working with children and families in residential settings, including strong parenting assessment knowledge and skills.
  • Management/leadership experience or a willingness to be trained, as well as a full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career growth.
