About the Role:

The role involves providing a highly specialist systemic family therapy service to clients across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Community within their homes.

You will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.

A salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) is available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To be a member of the multi-disciplinary team within CAMHS and to proactively contribute to and participate in the provision, governance and ongoing development of the services provided.
  2. To be responsible for the provision of family and systemic psychotherapy service at a highly specialist level for young people and their families, carers and wider networks.
  • Family therapy (all family members present in the room at the same time, plus patient and other members of the multi-disciplinary team).
  • Separated family therapy (i.e. parental counselling and individual systemic counselling running in parallel).
  • Multi-family group therapy.
To undertake detailed and highly specialist systemic assessment of children and families/wider systems as part of the CAMHS team.Provide risk assessments from a systemic/relational perspective.Work in ways which are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.To act as care coordinator, ensuring the provision of a care package appropriate for the client's needs.
