About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Cherry Hinton Medical Practice. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our experienced medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, prioritizing continuity of care and making a positive impact on patients' lives.
  • Clinical Meetings: Participate in daily clinical meetings to discuss patient cases and improve care delivery.
  • Home Visits: Conduct home visits as needed, ensuring patients receive timely and compassionate care.
  • Training and Development: Engage in monthly clinical closure afternoons for training and team building activities.
  • IT Systems: Utilize SystmOne practice management system with full Ardens templates to streamline clinical workflows.
  • Administrative Tasks: Allocate time for shared administrative and prescription tasks, ensuring seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: GMC Registration is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a GP Practice is required.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around £68 per session, plus paid indemnity and BMA model contract benefits. This is a traditional practice that values face-to-face consultations and offers a stable work environment. You will have access to a bigger network through CGPN, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks. The practice is conveniently located in South Cambridge, close to central amenities and easily accessible by car or bike.
