Job Description:
Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Senior Midwifery Practitioner in Genomic Medicine. As a key member of our fetal medicine team, you will provide specialist support and counselling to women considering antenatal screening and diagnostic testing. You will also manage and coordinate care for high-risk pregnancies, working closely with fetal medicine consultants, neonatology screening teams, and other relevant departments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a working knowledge of antenatal and newborn screening policies and guidelines, as well as ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring of the fetal medicine patient journey using IT systems and databases. We offer a competitive salary of £48,000 - £67,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.
