The successful candidate will play a key role in helping researchers access the health data and technology they need to make new medical discoveries and create more effective, targeted medicines for everybody.

Job Title

Clinical Bioinformatician

  • Analyzing and understanding diverse data sets, such as those needed for testing software products for clinical users.
  • Supporting the implementation of requirement analysis and end user-oriented tests.
  • Writing high-quality documentation tailored to end users.
  • Preparing and providing training activities for clinical users and researchers.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in clinical research or healthcare in either cancer or rare diseases.
  • A proven track record in analyzing large-scale genomic data using cutting-edge bioinformatics tools and reference databases.
  • A strong background in human genetics and proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis, including data wrangling and visualization.
Qualifications

MSc degree or equivalent practical experience in academic or commercial settings.
