Job Title: Senior Manager Commercial Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Commercial Operations to join our team at Solesis. As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you will be responsible for driving collaboration across functional processes to enhance Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Finance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear framework for Commercial data strategy to ensure efficient and effective leveraging of data assets.
  • Manage the continuum of commercial planning, localization of contracting, drive forecast accuracy, commercial variable compensation, and process optimization.
  • Drive accountability of data organization of the Pipeline & Sales Process driving adherence & accuracy via Salesforce.
  • Support the design and implementation of data management and data stewardship.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development Finance, and IT on commercial systems, inclusive but not limited to CRM and Commercial data warehouse.
  • Serve on cross-functional data governance team to establish business rules and processes that ensure data quality.
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis, management, and dissemination of data and accompanying analyses.
  • Monitor department performance against key performance indicators and collaborate with commercial leadership to implement improvements.
  • Partner with Marketing in development and deployment of marketing activities to ensure program data capture for metrics that provide insight into program effectiveness and follow up.
  • Ensure optimal use of Commercial and enterprise data assets through the use of advanced and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee and execute a wide variety of commercial initiatives across the organization to ensure company is launch ready.
  • Integrate with the broader Commercial team to clearly understand key business objectives and align operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing and deploying vision for the Commercial Operations Team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field. A master's degree (MBA) strongly preferred.
  • 15 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • 7+ years of experience working with industry data assets.
  • Extensive experience supporting technical design of commercial systems. Implementation experience a must.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com CRM, data management and Commercial data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sets such as Symphony, IQVIA, and specialty pharmacy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions, and data; to perform accurate analysis (correctly calculated numbers, accurate graphs); to cross-check data and assumptions; to document and establish data trails; and to think creatively about different ways to analyze data and information.
  • Excellent quantitative background that supports the analysis of data to better understand market dynamics and provide insights into product performance and marketing strategy.
  • Ability to self-direct projects and work with little supervision.
