Job Title: Commercial Manager

Job Summary:

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join their Sales team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing unique business opportunities within the European marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities for new products and services that will create unique value for the business within the European marketplace.
  • Develop and present business plan proposals for any identified opportunities, showcasing your commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Build and maintain a commercial network within Europe, establishing yourself as a commercial expert and a key driver of new opportunities.
  • Monitor business performance to ensure the continued commercial validity of the business areas within scope, making recommendations for improvement and leading the implementation of agreed changes.
  • Prepare and present regular business reports to senior stakeholders, detailing current performance and future perspectives on all business areas in scope.
  • Own the New Model/Business Introduction process and commercial relationships for all products and services within scope.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and networking skills to build relationships and drive business growth.
  • Proven ability in negotiating, persuading, and influencing at a high commercial level, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent project management skills and a high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • A manufacturing or engineering background would be highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and Europe for business purposes, with occasional overnight stays.
