Job Summary

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships within the Culina Group network. This role will focus on retaining and growing existing customer base through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement joint business plans with key clients to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Manage commercial relationships with key clients, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of queries and issues.
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with Culina Group departments to ensure seamless customer service and effective implementation of client strategies.
  • Support the Head of Commercial in contract negotiations and tenders, ensuring operational needs and costs are met while supporting client needs and expectations.
  • Deliver financial KPIs related to volume, sales, and profit through collaborative forecasting and joint business planning.
  • Work with the Platform Manager to maintain the new business pipeline, identifying new opportunities and attracting new business.
  • Support and mentor the development of the Culina Group Commercial team, demonstrating best practices and promoting a team ethos with leadership qualities.
  • Possess high levels of commercial awareness and ability to identify and maximize commercial opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Knowledge of the food industry is desirable.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Able to work using own initiative at a senior level and as part of a team.
  • Professional, approachable, and helpful when communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong IT and numerical literacy.
