We are a leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion across our existing and new markets.

The Role

  • This is a home-based position covering the UK, where you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a loyal customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • You will work closely with our team to understand our products and services, promote them effectively, and stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
    • Developing and executing a structured sales plan to achieve business growth;
    • Maintaining accurate records and databases of customers and leads;
    • Identifying new projects and product development opportunities to tap into emerging markets;
    • Building and expanding your client base through proactive outreach and engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of business growth and development;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
  • A strong understanding of construction principles and practices would be beneficial;
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Proficient numerical skills, including job costing and pricing analysis;
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
