We are a leading manufacturing company seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion across our existing and new markets.
The Role
- This is a home-based position covering the UK, where you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining a loyal customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing strategies to increase sales.
- You will work closely with our team to understand our products and services, promote them effectively, and stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a structured sales plan to achieve business growth;
- Maintaining accurate records and databases of customers and leads;
- Identifying new projects and product development opportunities to tap into emerging markets;
- Building and expanding your client base through proactive outreach and engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of business growth and development;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
- A strong understanding of construction principles and practices would be beneficial;
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Proficient numerical skills, including job costing and pricing analysis;
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
