Job Title: SENCO Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead our provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a thriving community primary school in Southwark.

The school offers a supportive and high-quality educational environment for children aged 4-11, with a strong focus on inclusive learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team responsible for providing support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure that all students have access to an engaging curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to coordinate support and resources.
  • Ensure that statutory requirements such as Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) are fully implemented and reviewed regularly.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Prior experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum
