Detailed Job Description

The Assistant SENCO will play a key role in supporting the SENCO in implementing the school's SEN policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting with administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

You will also contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs, which will involve working closely with students, parents, and teachers to set achievable goals and objectives. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

We are looking for an individual who is knowledgeable about SEN policies and procedures, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.
